As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of its interventions and to adapt its work to the evolving contextual landscape in Syria, Nophotozone team convened a three days strategic meeting. During this meeting, several core issues were discussed, including:

• A comprehensive review of Nophotozone’s activities during the years leading up to the fall of the previous regime.
• An analysis of the implications of the regime’s collapse on the issue of enforced disappearances and the missing,
• A review of the initiatives and efforts undertaken by Nophotozone in this area.

The meeting also addressed the broader political and social transformations and their impact on the nature of the organization’s work. Based on these deliberations, the team  reached a consensus on the general framework of Nophotozone’s upcoming strategic plan, which will guide the organization’s work through the end of 2026. This framework will serve as a clear roadmap for Nophotozone’s future activities.
